I had a total hip replacement on March 21, 2022 and at that time Dr. Crickard arranged for me to stay overnight. When admitted to my room, I was told Meredith Hyer would be my attending nurse for that shift. Nurse Hyer was very polite and respectful, but more than that she was there to answer all my questions and attend to my pain. She was very caring and checked on me several times to see about my pain or anything else I might need. Because of the above reasons I feel nurse Hyer deserves The DAISY Award. I definitely found her to go above what was expected of her in her care for her patients. Meredith is very compassionate and devoted to being the best nurse possible.
