Thank you for taking such good care of me. Thank you for loving me and accepting me as I am, my flaws and everything. Thank you for treating me gently and kindly and reaching out for me when I couldn’t.
Ms. Methawee Lunsombat is knowledgeable about psychiatric disorders. She gave the patient's family members ample time to adequately explain mental illness in a clear, concise, and easy-to-understand manner.

She takes the lead in creating psychoeducation for patients in a fun way. She was well-prepared before each session. For example, she studied English hard in order to organize the psychoeducation session effectively, which included an English-speaking patient in class with Thai patients. The session worked very well. Everyone was cooperative and fun. She then did a debrief after each session so that everyone on the team could share what went well and gathered areas that needed to be improved. In addition, she is committed to training the nursing team, both psychiatric nurses and rotating nursing staff, to possess knowledge and skills in caring for psychiatric patients and leading psychiatric patient support groups.

A patient wrote her a letter expressing her gratitude for her compassion, "Thank you for taking such good care of me. Thank you for loving me and accepting me as I am, my flaws and everything. Thank you for treating me gently and kindly and reaching out for me when I couldn’t. Thank you for being patient with me over the past month. I have struggled a lot in my life and it has affected my attitude towards the people who are most important to me. You treated me so much more than I could have ever hoped for, and I really appreciate it."

Ms. Methawee also leads the "Happy Workplace" scheme, which established new mindsets and ways of working with diverse nursing teams to promote good relationships among the teams to work together happily.
