Micah Williams 2023, RN, BSN

My daughter spent several years being treated. While all the nurses are wonderful, my daughter formed a very special bond with Micah from the beginning. They developed their own special greeting and handshake. My daughter loved to share music with Micah before her procedures. Micah was perfectly calm and understanding with her. Letting her decide how her blood was drawn with her own special rules. Micah never rushed her, allowing her to take her time and remain calm. We never felt rushed to get her port accessed, get shots, or have blood drawn. Even when Micah wasn’t her nurse she would always stop by to say hello and see how she was doing. Micah made the treatment better! She made my daughter happy and look forward to what would otherwise be a very painful, long, and sad day. My daughter no longer goes to the infusion center but we still try to sneak in next door to say hello to everyone. We will never forget her nurses, especially her “girl” Micah!
