Michael has been wonderful. Patient, thoughtful, and attentive throughout the day.
As a psychiatric social worker who has been working with the patient, I wanted to take a moment to appreciate Michael for his incredible work with this patient, the past several days. This patient requires a great deal of patience and attention, not to mention his COVID+ diagnosis adding to the challenge of his boarding stay.
Michael has been wonderful. Patient, thoughtful, and attentive throughout the day. The mother of the patient has had some very understandable concerns about her son not having access to the typical 1:1 care he gets at one, and she has told me the incredible comfort Michael has given her by checking in frequently with her, tending so thoughtfully to her son's schedules/interventions, and just being silly with her son. The BCBA and I were discussing earlier and she told me that Michael's commitment to implement the behavioral interventions, and to close the loop with mom every episode, was instrumental in her work. She also noted the amazing and informative notes that Michael has written that would allow anyone taking over to have all the necessary information for a successful shift.
Michael is incredibly deserving of this award.
