Our brother spent nearly two weeks in the ICU. Mike Raskett not only provided excellent care to our brother but took precious time to explain it is not uncommon for patients to change their minds about advanced directives when facing death. His compassion and experience in this area reassured us that we were taking the right steps with our brother. Mike's demeanor helped ground and calm us as we experienced a roller coaster of emotions and faced medical decisions during the critical first days of our bother's time in the unit. He is an integral part of an exceptional health care team who stands out and is deserving of the DAISY Award. We are so grateful for the outstanding care he provided, his kindness and support.
