I would like to take the time and actually comment on one of the nurses who helped my wife with labor and delivery. Her name is Michele. Michele is the best nurse of all time. She is a dream come true. She is a shining example of what Henry Ford Hospital should be all about. I have never seen anyone here or anywhere that was so committed to the well-being of my wife and baby. She even stayed extra after her shift to be able to see the baby and congratulate my wife. If every nurse was like Michele, Henry Ford Hospital could charge a million bucks and it would still be worth it. I have recommended Henry Ford Hospital just based on the accommodation and the fact that it's a new building. Top Notch. A++, a real God send in this most difficult of times.

I would like to take the time out of my busy first week of parenthood schedule, and while my little baby is fast asleep quickly write to you about one of the nurses we had during our four day stay in the hospital that resulted in the birth of our beautiful baby girl. My wife gave birth to our beautiful daughter on Monday July 27. My wife and I were very nervous being the first time we went into labor and delivery and prepping for our first child. The baby was already 10 days overdue and stubborn to come out. We were nervous about being induced, as well most of our family and friends. Our mother in law was very scared for her daughter. Days went by and still no baby, just slowly inducing my wife to each and every step.
The service by the doctors and the nurses was good, but then we met one nurse, who made everything so spectacular. Her name is Michele. She took care of my wife and me so well, it was shocking. She treated us like family. She was always on top of things, always so patient, explained everything to us at every step. She even comforted and put my mother in law at ease that she went home for the night knowing that Michele was going to take care of us! I have never met such nice nurse as well as so knowledgeable. Whenever something hurt, or the baby's position moved, or we needed help moving her to the bathroom, or taught us how to breathe at each step. She was amazing.
