Michelle Mendez 2023, RN

Michelle was the nurse for a patient who was involved in a very difficult and upsetting occurrence. The patient was in extreme emotional distress. Michelle is an excellent clinical nurse, but she is also a kind, compassionate person. She took the time to speak and, most importantly, listen - she gained the trust of her patient. Because of this, the patient revealed information that she was burdened with for two years and had never told anyone. Due to this information, Michelle changed this patient's life, as we can now get her the help that she needs. Michelle's time, patience, and compassion made a life-changing difference for her patient.
