Mikee, one of the most impressive traits you possess is thoroughness of evaluations. Each time I consult with you, you consistently ask and truly listen to any side effects I may have from my cancer treatments and action is taken immediately.
You also possess compassion. About 8 months into treatment, I had very bad thrush, had received bad news about test results and was just very emotional. I came into Parkview one day, crying that I had hit rock bottom. Your presence and kind words were very comforting. Months earlier you had referred to me as "My M" and I appreciate that level of commitment to my care and to me. Now 10 months into treatment, you have given me some positive test results. You are the first to share a hug and smile.
