Milacoya (Deon) Latimore, RN

Thank you to Deon for the care and compassion she showed my daughter during her stay at Lakeside. She is a 44-year-old woman, but due to her illness of Down Syndrome, she doesn’t understand many things. Mrs. Deon treated her with all the respect of a normal patient. She explained everything she was doing to her, always asking before she touched her. The thing I was most impressed with was Deon telling her no one should touch her without her saying so. This might be less important to someone else, but I worry so much about her for that reason. She also came constantly in to check on her, although she had someone with her. So, I thank and appreciate the care at Lakeside Medical Center. Nurse Deon, you Rock!
