Mollie was amazing from the start. Her confidence in her ability to do her job and in her knowledge of what was going to transpire was extremely comforting to both my husband (patient) and me. My husband was brought in for an infection that wouldn't drain after IR had placed a tube. He was scheduled for surgery. Having never had surgery other than a wisdom tooth extraction as a teenager, he was extremely anxious. Mollie pulled up a chair next to his bed and talked him through everything that would happen. When he came back from surgery Mollie was right there to help him get settled, check his vitals, etc. Her presence had an immediate calming effect for my husband and significantly reduced his anxiety. I'm sure that nurses have a tom of medical knowledge both from coursework and practical experience, but Mollie has the personal connection as well and that makes her a huge asset to SEHC.

Mollie is a wonderful nurse, and her fun personality came shining through to my dad and my entire family. My dad is gravely ill but the care that Mollie gave him was incredible. She visited my dad on her off day, and we were blown away by her kindness and compassion. Please let Mollie know how very grateful our family is for everything she has done for my dad. Although this has been one of the most difficult times of our lives Mollie has been a huge blessing for all of us.
