Monica is very attentive and because of her long experience has figured out ways to solve problems. For example, because I came through the emergency room due to an unexpected blood clot in my neck, I had no order for the anti-allergy nasal spray which my primary care doctor recommended over the counter. The first couple of nights I had to wear oxygen but couldn't breathe through my nose! She brought me a saline flush to shrink my sinuses so that I could breathe for a couple of nights while the daytime doctors could get something ordered by the house doc to the pharmacy.
Monica always came when I rang for her, brought the right thing, and didn't hesitate to make me feel well-taken care of through the night. I feel she is the kind of dedicated nurse that reflects well on the hospital and excels at her job every day, even when she has grumpy patients like myself to care for. She never made me call her twice for the same issue and was showing dedication to her profession and reflects well on the hospital.
