Monica M. Horsley, RN

We were on vacation in Jamaica. We had a very dangerous event happen. I could not remember any of my Veterans info. I just knew his Dr and the department I needed to speak to.  Monica received my call first. For the rest of the day, she was an amazing support for me. I was alone and she was the voice on the other side helping me through and making sure I was able to support my Veteran in every way possible. I needed to get him stable and home. I am forever grateful. Monica answering the phone and assisting me meant so much. I cried and was a total mess, Monica was encouraging and helped me with strength. I can not think of a better person to recognize. I have spoken to her since we arrived back home. Monica is the kindest, most compassionate person I have had the pleasure of working with.
