Natalie Aschbrenner, BSN, RN

The tiniest member of our family was brought to the PICU for reasons we can’t even fathom. We know how hard it must be to not take the situation home and how selfless of a service everyone on this floor provided. I’d love to nominate them all but Natalie didn’t leave our side at all. She sat in the lounge with us and explained everything, multiple times so that we could understand. She showed us real emotion and presented us with the true value of organ donation. We will never forget how she has comforted us and made us laugh when we never thought we could. She helped us pick the perfect ways to commemorate our sweet girl, and for that, we’ll always be grateful. The Peds floor is truly full of wonderful caretakers, we’re so thankful for all of you.
