Natalie Meacham is a long time employee within Airlift Northwest and is seen as the face of Airlift in many communities around Western Washington and SE Alaska. While she teaches PALS, TNCC and ACLS extensively, what really makes her special is the ability to touch every patient she interacts with, with kindness and compassion that makes them feel safe and know they are in the best hands. Families often express confidence and relief in knowing they are in such capable care.

Natalie has been a flight nurse at Airlift Northwest since its conception. She has over the years exhibited exceptional dedication to the organization. She is an exceptional nurse and teacher. Everyone in the rural communities Airlift responds to know her. This is due to her outreach education and huge knowledge base. She puts referring staff at ease and makes everyone feel that they are part of the big picture of the patients care and being transported to a higher level of care. We arrive at rural areas to transport often due to her ability to teach and educate the community on how to stabilized and care for critically ill and injured adults and children prior to ALS transport. I cannot tell you how often I have been asked “Do you know Natalie?” She treats pre hospital personnel and referring hospital staff like the hero’s they are.
