Natalie was in and out of the room coordinating the care and keeping the family updated.
My sister had fallen and was taken to the Emergency department. She had hit her head and needed stitches on both her head and pointer finger, which totaled 41 stitches. Other injuries occurred with her skin, and the skin had to be pulled back over, which gives you an idea of how bad the fall is. She needed to be seen by her PCP to address the wounds and pick up the care from there, but before coming into the appointment, she developed a UTI, causing our follow-up to be pushed back a couple of days when we finally made it in for an appointment. Natalie Zimmerman helped to address the wounds and make sure to redress and assess them. My sister's hand was very swollen from the fall, causing her wedding ring finger to be extremely swollen, and she was unable to get her ring off. They had to lube and ice her finger to try and ease any of the pain that she was about to endure with the process of getting her ring off. While this was occurring, Natalie held her hand and told her it would be okay, and they finally got this ring off. I am a nurse, so I recognize a good nurse, and Natalie was in and out of the room coordinating the care and keeping the family updated. My sister had to be admitted as she lives alone, and she needed help through the night as well as physical therapy. Natalie made this happen by coordinating her care. Living at home by herself, she was getting weaker and weaker. We are so thankful for the care we receive from our primary care doctor and Natalie.
