A vehicle-pedestrian accident last winter left a young man with multiple fractures and a serious head injury. Nichole was on duty the night the patient faced a severe threat from an increase in intracranial pressure. Working to balance the patient's medications, Nichole saw him through the life-threatening ordeal.
The patient's family believes that because of Nichole's efforts their family member survived the night. The patient is now in outpatient rehabilitation and is undergoing a remarkable recovery process because of Nichole's extraordinary intelligence, knowledge, professionalism, and care that night.
