Nicole Kotval, RN

Nicole cared for me for two shifts while I was post-op total hysterectomy admission. As a former STICU nurse myself, I consider myself quite particular in my nursing care. Nicole exceeded all of my expectations. Nicole was the epitome of what Florence Nightingale calls nurses to be. Nicole was a constant active listener and clear communicator. She constantly anticipated my needs prior to even being asked. She frequently encouraged me to ambulate and ensured my safety doing so. Nicole modeled empathy and showed respect to not only me but her fellow coworkers. She was compassionate in every interaction, even during my tedious moments. Most importantly, her clinical knowledge was superior! Thank you, Nicole!
