Nicole was my nurse when I entered the hospital. I found her to be very friendly and compassionate. As my time progressed, my condition worsened, she was there for me with encouragement and just sitting down and talking with me when I was in my isolation. When I started hitting rock bottom, she set up a video FaceTime with my family and worked with hospital management to get my wife to be able to sit outside the door and communicate through the phone. Then eventually after 10 days in ICU, I went into a regular room where my wife was allowed to come into the room with all precautions, which meant so much to me. Nicole would always take the time to sit and talk about family, friends, and life. She would consistently lift my spirits with encouragement!! She even drew signs on my walls to stay positive and I will be home soon. After 21 days as I was leaving the hospital, she even took time on her day off to see me leave. I will never forget her! She’s one in a million.
