Her ability to work hand in hand with doctors and nurses speaks to her character. She is always open to new ideas. She takes caring to another level and I have worked with her for many years, being here since they built the building. I’ve seen some who aren’t in it for the care. She is quite the opposite. She has had trials and tribulations in her own life, but yet continues to strive for what is best. Her attitude is always a “let’s go team, we got this”. She’s kind and her compassion for others is always noticed. I’ve seen her laugh with patients, listen to their concerns and fears, and I have seen her cry right beside the families. She has gone up and beyond most of the time. She has a contagious smile that has been noticed by many patients. She’s absolutely upbeat. She has a funny phrase she uses a lot (Absolutely and for sure). She brings a lot to the world of nursing. My hopes are the younger nurses will follow in her very large foot print, because the most beautiful thing you wear in life is confidence and she wears it well. Unknown love for others starts with a smile. She always remembers life is about making an impact, not an income.
