I am a new cancer patient; although my stay this time had to do with a perirectal abscess. All the nurses have gone above and beyond.
My whole outlook on losing my hair has been tremendous. I had hair everywhere. One nurse and one PCA stepped up out of true love for a patient's needs. They offered to shave my head. It had to be done in two sessions. I wore my turban to cover what wasn't finished.
In the end, they made my day! It made me feel like a beautiful lady. I work in healthcare. I know first hand what going above and beyond means. I am forever grateful to Nicoletta for the love and care she gave me to push forward and to fight this ugly battle with colon cancer.
