Nikki greeted us instantly with an overall demeanor that exuded compassion and empathy. She knew the unique art of when to remain silent and just cry with us.
Dear Nikki, I would like to express my sincerest appreciation and gratitude for taking care of my wife. I know that my wife had to endure pain with her labor but you made it less because of your compassion, understanding, calmness, and assurance that everything would be okay. I knew that my wife would be okay because of you being her nurse and angel. Thank you for all you did to make our experience much better. I hope that MVH knows what a shining star they have in you Nikki Stewart, you are a ROCKSTAR!

When my wife and I were going through one of the hardest heartbreaks of our lives, Nikki was there. Having lost our child, my wife and I were terrified of the next steps, the hospital care, and the feeling of being vulnerable. When we got to the hospital at 5:30a, Nikki greeted us instantly with an overall demeanor that exuded compassion and empathy. She knew the unique art of when to remain silent and just cry with us. Being nurses ourselves, my wife and I have been on the giving end for so long and had never received. I genuinely never knew how much it meant to have someone sit down with you, hold your hands, and cry. It means they are feeling your pain with you, which makes you feel less alone. I would not want anyone to have to go through the experience that my wife and I went through and continue to walk through today. Yet, I know that because of nurses like Nikki, everyone who encounters her will only experience the BEST care that a nurse can give as well as a friend for life. We loved our little one more than words can express and wish so badly that we could have carried him/her in our arms and raised him/her as we intended. We know that our little one had life and because of that, we are thankful that Nikki was a part of that life. We are eternally grateful.
