I came into University around the end of October where I was being treated for possible cancer. I wasn't sure how my visit would go and I was doubting everything. Nikki could feel the pain I was in. She gave me the comfort that I needed. I've never in my life cried aloud but Nikki gave me her shoulder to cry on. She showed me so much love without hesitation. She gave me a reason to believe in the doctors. No words can actually describe how much she means to me. The compassion she showed is what nursing should be. I am forever grateful. I was treated for two weeks and if I had to do it again, I would.
