My nurse was so comforting, so compassionate, over the top with my family, etc. I don't know how to describe how comforting she made me feel me feel. Nydjia was there the next couple of days and was with me when I saw myself in the mirror for the 1st time. I was in shock. She held my hand; she talked to me and said all the right things to help me wrap myself around what had happened to me. She gave me hope; she gave me strength. She became a guardian angel to me and my family. I now understand she is still in training. I can't imagine that this is not her true calling. Her patience is a true virtue. She did and said everything to make me understand what was happening and put my mind at ease. She is a very special person to me and my family. I will never forget her kindness. She is the true meaning of a "special" nurse.
