Ofelia has a wonderful balance of being an excellent bedside nurse, a kind and empathetic coworker and a dedicated employee. She will often jump up to help whoever needs assistance, never saying she is too busy. Every morning she comes in with a smile on her face and each evening she walks off the unit with the same grin. Don't let that sense of humor and sweet disposition fool you though. She is very smart and an intuitive, highly skilled nurse. Her patients often describe her to be very compassionate, helpful and caring. She is sought out by many as an expert clinician and is never too busy to help those in need. She supports our department as a preceptor, mentor, relief charge nurse, the list goes on and on.
