She gave us our space, and we said goodbye together to let him go. She was very sweet and kind and comforted us in such a hard time.
My dad was admitted in the ICU. He had a cardiac arrest in Weiser, Idaho and was transported by ambulance. All my siblings and I were there in the waiting room. My children and nephews, nieces, etc. We didn’t know what to do since there were so many of us. We are a very united family. When Ohana came to the waiting room, I felt a little embarrassed since there were so many of us. We apologized to her for such a big crowd. She was super sweet and understanding. She made us feel welcomed and supported.
Various family members would ask her questions about my dad, and every time, she would be so kind as to explain what was going on and what they were doing for my dad. Family from out of state arrived at the hospital, and she welcomed them as well. She would constantly ask if we needed anything. She took us water and some snacks since we’d been there for almost two days.
After various tests, they notified us that my dad wasn’t improving. She came to us with the most sweet and caring attitude to give us the bad news. She explained what the options were and gave us so much support in deciding what we were going to do. The time came to disconnect my dad from life support. She moved my dad to a bigger room, so all my family could be together and say goodbye. She gave us our space, and we said goodbye together to let him go. She was very sweet and kind and comforted us in such a hard time. All I can say is she is an angel God sent us in such a hard time, May God bless her soul, and I thank God for putting her in our lives.
