Olivia Arnada, RN

I would like to share my extraordinary experience and interaction with Olivia. From the day I was admitted, Olivia did not just read the normal questions, she got close and genuinely asked how I was doing and then took the time to listen while I expressed how I was feeling. Her compassion is amazing. She actually gave me a hug when I was describing my illness and what brought me to the hospital again. No matter how busy she was she always made time to stop by and ask how I was doing. She not only addressed me by my name but called me "friend" and I knew she meant the word friend. I would ask Olivia how was lunch and she would say, “I did not eat, you are my priority.”

Since March of 2021 I have been admitted 4 or 5 times. While all the staff at Banner are wonderful, Ms. Olivia really stood out. Her compassion, kindness, caring, efficient care of me eased my pain and anxiety. I do hope Olivia is recognized for the extraordinary RN and representative of Banner that she is.
