Omana is a senior nurse and a very experienced teacher. Omana has a very calm and quiet persona that emits to all staff, visitors and patients. She is always receiving rave reviews from her patients. Omana always has time to help even if it is time for her break writes one of her nominators. It was a very hectic day on the unit and a new RN needed help in setting up a tube feeding for her patient. Instead of looking up the policy she approached Omana as she was leaving for her lunch break. Omana turned and assisted the new RN to make sure all was well with the set up and the patient, all with a smile. This is why Omana is our DAISY Honoree this month.
