Omar goes above and beyond. He explains the medications and he comes in and asks what he can do for you, like get you a blanket or pillow. He is quick at answering bells and very professional. He is also a good listener.

Omar is such a vibrant smiling wonderful nurse. No matter how stressful things may be, Omar keeps a positive attitude and a gracious smile. Anyone who is around him can feel his positive energy. I've also noticed a difference when Omar is caring for dementia patients. They are much more relaxed in his care. He has a way to set his patients at ease. He also gives each one a foot massagebefore bed. We are very blessed to have such an amazing man on our team!

Manager Comments: Omar leads by example in the provision of excellent care. Every staff member that has worked alongside him has recognized the helpfulness, patient centered care, communication and teamwork that this individual displays. Patients always report how well he cares for them at night. He makes sure his patients are comfortable and rested so that they are able to maximize their participation in therapy the next day. He is very attentive to the patient's preferences and makes each patient feel as though they are his only patient for the night when in reality is caring for 5-6 more and completing his charge nurse duties. Omar, you go above and beyond every shift and we are so grateful to have you on our rehab team!
