Paige, like all of the nurses, has taken great care of my friend; however, Paige took it a step up. She was working on the floor but did not have my friend in her care. As I was leaving for an appointment for my wife, she stopped and asked how my friend was doing and was concerned for him. She stated that she had thought of him over the weekend on her time off and was wondering how he was. I find that so above and beyond caring. For her to do that, she is heads above.

Paige often works the charge nurse role while taking a full load of patients. Her patients express their positive feedback and how fun she is. Often I hear that she jokes around or "gives it right back." They also admit that she makes being in the hospital more bearable. Paige also has taken on the role of preceptor on day shift and helps to develop new RNs. She is a team player and a leader in our unit. I'm proud to work alongside Paige.
