Paige is a valued employee in our department. She frequently adapts her personal life to accommodate the needs of the facility. This includes working extra shifts to fill the needs in the schedule. She has most recently switched from working day shift to night shift, which is difficult, to help fill a great need and to help night shift with the throughput metrics. She comes in on her off time (or after working all night) to attend meetings on behalf of frontline staff.
The real reason I nominate this selfless individual is recently we had a disaster drill. Earlier in the week, prior to the drill, her family received word that her grandfather who was on Hospice, was expected to depart from this earth within 24-48 hours. Paige knew there was nothing she could do for her grandfather. She was a key player in the drill. She left her grandfather's side as well as her family who had gathered to offer each other support to be here to make sure the drill went as smoothly as possible. For this, I am grateful to call her a member of our team!

I have been working here, for almost 6 months now, as a security officer. I have noticed that Paige is one of the most dedicated and hardworking nurses in her department. She always goes above and beyond the call of duty to accomplish her tasks. She shows such dedication and care to what she does. Paige is an outstanding role model for the nursing profession.
I have seen how hard she works to make sure that her patients are taken care of quickly and proficiently. She constantly exhibits interpersonal skills and exemplifies the essence of professional nursing in all activities. She always has a smile on her face when dealing with patients no matter how crazy or busies her shift is. She shows empathy in all situations & is a dedicated professional that loves what she does. She is a rock-solid ED nurse.
Paige is patient with all the staff, quickly going through her charge duties, seemingly never getting ruffled with the hectic pace of the ED. She is dedicated, hardworking, and makes sure everyone is getting the care they need. She has a special heart for the work she does. She gives 100% every time she is working, insuring patients are being looked at and assessed in a timely manner. Paige goes above and beyond for her patients. She helps without asking and tries to make the patients feel as comfortable as she can. She has a great heart that shows caring and professionalism in all she does.
