Writing this letter is a pleasure as it is always good to recognize people who go above and beyond in their roles. Nurse Pam did just that! As I lay in my bed confused and in pain, she calmed me and reassured me. She took very good care of me. When I had the tube down my throat I was not able to speak but she communicated with me. I thank Pam for her ability to sense my needs before I could tell her. This meant so much to me. I no longer felt alone and scared. Pam knew what I wanted, needed, and desired, or sometimes before I knew. She is professional, empathetic, and kind. I wish that Pam could go with me to the next floor. This experience was easier because Pam performed above and beyond. Thanks, Ms. Pam you are the best and I am better because of you.
