Pam was the nurse for my mother-in-law. My mother-in-law suffered a small stroke and was nervous about returning home. Pam went over and reviewed signs, health suggestions and other ways to improve her health. She explained in a calm, caring and simple way that put my mother-in-law at ease. We also enjoyed her sense of humor. Pam's obvious intelligence and sincere manner are truly an asset to Mercy Hospital.

From the moment I arrived in my room on 5 west, Pam's kindness and wonderful sense of humor helped me through a very difficult time where I received some unexpected and troubling news and had to make a difficult decision about my health. We asked Pam questions, which she was very happy to answer in detail. We really appreciated the time that she spent with us. What a wonderful nurse, she certainly chose the right profession!
