We stayed at the hospital for nearly a week on strict bed rest and were cared for by several nurses who really showed compassion and care for our comfort and the sensitive reason for being admitted. I know you have to have a big heart and strength to do this line of work which can at times be thankless I would guess. Pamela is a true DAISY Nurse. She really made me feel looked after and that my health and following the rules of really being on bed rest, even confiscating my cell phone so I would rest, was important to her. Besides her labor-intensive bed dressing skills when my hips were actually bruising, and moving me into another room while the sink in my room was being fixed, she really made my boyfriend and I feel comfortable and well looked after. I leave here now knowing how to: care for my tulip bulbs leftover from the flowers I received during my stay, a mini body wash and conditioner from her collection when I was permitted to shower and I even received a few fancy coffees made by her personally. She is very deserving of recognition for her efforts and labor of love in her job here. Thank you, Pamela!
