I would like to admire Pariya (Nong Ta), my operating room nurse. I came to the hospital with dyspnea and it was found to be Congestive Heart Failure and I had to stay in the ICU. The doctor said that I needed open-heart surgery. This operating room nurse came in to give me information to prepare for heart surgery. I was very scared of the surgery, so I asked a lot of questions. She was polite with all her answers. She explained and encouraged that open heart surgery was not as scary as I thought. She said there will be a lot of friends in the operating room and they are professionals who will help me return to a better quality of life. After the surgery, she came to visit and ask various symptoms and give me advice. All with a smile.
When I got back home Pariya called me and she asked me if I remembered her. She said she was a nurse who looked after me in the operating room that day and she was calling to inquire about the symptoms after surgery. She asked how the surgical wounds were and if the dyspnea improved. She reminded me about my follow-up appointment and gave me a contact number for when I had a problem or questions.
I am very impressed with the services of this nurse. She made me feel relaxed and feel safe during surgery. She is nice and friendly. I hope Mahachai Hospital will treat good people like this nurse well and she stays with the hospital for a long time. Today I came to my appointment, and I came to write, admire and thank this nurse and the staff at Mahachai Hospital who took good care of me.
