The first nurse I met here was Patrice. She was so nice and welcomed me with a warm smile. She always was attentive to my needs and would explain everything where I could understand. I am alone- my family is not in the valley, so I had no visits. I told her I wanted to be out for my daughter’s birthday next week, which didn’t happen.

Every time it was Patrice's turn to be my nurse, she kept me optimistic and made me laugh, kept me sane. I was crying, sad, and upset and she would keep me positive. She would go out of her way to make me feel better and meet my needs. No matter how tired she was, she would always have a smile on her face with a great attitude. She is the best nurse I have ever had in my life. She is like an angel to keep me positive and not give up. I hope she keeps up the great work because patients do notice and see when a nurse truly cares, and she is the best!
