LTC (P) Patricia A. Hodson has served the Brooke Army Medical Center team as the Chief of Nursing Operations-BAMC, Regional NMA MRC, West Enterprise Clairvia Clinical Lead. She brought her vast leadership and nurse methods analyst experience and translated that into building an environment where nurses can thrive. LTC (P) Hodson’s focus on building sustainable team services allowing nurses and staff time back at the bedside which was greatly appreciated by the nursing staff. Her value to the staff and growth of the team was appreciated by all.

LTC (P) Hodson always looks for ways to build efficiencies and advocates for nursing processes that make sense. LTC (P) Hodson’s was Pivotal in reviewing/assessing nursing staff requirements and onboarding staff Organized and planned off sites for mobility/falls and CNOIC/ACNOIC training. Assisted with Nurses Week 2023 planning impacting > 2K nurses.

As she transitions to her new position, her legacy of thoughtfulness, team building, and innovation will continue to sustain and improve the staff at Brooke Army Medical Center. All of her efforts left Brooke Army Medical Center a better place for nurses to practice and patients to thrive.
