We had a long term COVID ICU patient who eventually passed away. Patrick took care of this patient for a few weeks and built such a wonderful bond with the family that they found him on social media to reach out and thank him after the passing of their loved one. Here are some words from the patient's daughter:
"I just want to let you know how much you meant to my family. I feel like you treated my family with such kindness and love. Thank you for always having my family's best interest in mind. My family would have loved to have known you. I'm sure you hear it all the time, but my family member was truly one of the greats. My family member has helped so many people in this world, and never took anything too seriously except an unshakeable love for the family. I wish you had a chance to hear my family member's amazing laugh and get one of their world-famous 'hugs'. So, from me and my family... Thank you. You are truly an angel on Earth, and we will always remember what you did for us."
