Pauline Kien, BSN, RN

Pauline Kien has demonstrated excellence through both clinical expertise and extraordinary compassionate care. During the COVID-19 surge, she was one of the first to volunteer to help out in all periop units. She expanded on her OR knowledge and skill by proactively seeking education and training in the Pre/Post area. Since then, she has transferred into the Pre/Post unit but continues to contribute to the entire Periop Team by picking up shifts in main Pre/Post, SNC Pre/Post, main OR, and SNC OR. She has become the rare nurse who is an expert in both OR and Pre/Post areas. Her knowledge of both areas allows her to provide comprehensive guidance and teaching to her patients. We are so grateful to have her on our team!
