Watching your mother age is one thing but watching them age and become sick is another. When I began to lose hope and feel defeated, in came Nurse Peggy. You would have to meet her to truly understand how much of a blessing she is to a family going through such a difficult time. Her warm smile greeted us at every visit and her compassion is admirable. From her gentle touch helping my mother change into a gown, to the above and beyond care of helping us find resources for my mom, to her nursing skills and knowledge. There is not enough that I can say that would show our gratitude for Nurse Peggy. She made the most difficult times seem manageable. If only everyone could be so compassionate. Thank you, Nurse Peggy, for everything you have done for us.
