Penny was an excellent nurse that cared for my husband after he had hip surgery. Penny was an excellent resource for information during his recovery period after surgery. She frequently assessed him and made him feel very comfortable to ask questions or share concerns about the spinal anesthesia. She was patient, caring, and knowledgeable, and provided excellent thorough discharge instructions for at home care. She made our experience so easy and seamless. I would recommend Mary Immaculate Hospital to all of my family and friends for surgery based on the wonderful care we received throughout, but mostly because of the excellent surgeon he had, and the nursing care Penny provided to my husband. She definitely made a difference for my husband as he has already had many orthopedic surgeries before this one.
