Penny Lobenstein aka “mother” is one of a kind and I'm so glad to call her ours. We call Penny “mother” because this is what she is to all of us. We know when she's in an OR we keep the blanket warmers full because she always makes sure everyone is snuggled right in, you can be 2 years old or 92 years old it doesn’t matter. So I was a patient at RAMC and my mother at work never failed. I felt better after surgery than I did going in. She brightens your day with little gifts (which I had waiting for me on my bed). Even though I work in surgery that does not mean you do not have fears going under the knife and with Penny there by my side it really felt like my mom was with me. Thank you Penny for being ours! And to all my team at RAMC I love you guys.
