My 16-year-old son suffered a severe injury and was told it would take at least a year to recover enough for him to play baseball again. He was also told he may never play again. Perry Landis continuously encouraged my son and told him that when he was able to play again, Perry would come and watch him pitch. Perry kept that commitment 1-1/2 years later. He watched my son pitch for a win, and bat 3 for 4 with a home run! I wish you could have seen the excitement on my son's face when he saw Perry at the game.
