Pete Gray, RN
Pete has been a nurse for 12 years. For most of his career, he was a nurse in the Emergency Department but has transitioned to the OR. In his off-time Pete volunteers with his local 4-H chapter as a Nurse and Adult leader. When we were in the height of COVID Pete not only stepped out of his role in the OR to help cover an overwhelmed Emergency Room but also assisted in giving COVID vaccines at both staff and community vaccination drives.
When the hospital announced we would begin a shared governance model, Pete said, "Sign me up. Where do you want me?" He became the Chair of our Nurse Practice and Quality Council. Pete has demonstrated a servant's heart a love for his community and a desire to grow professionally. His commitment embodies our mission to improve health, elevate hope, and advance healing for all.
