I was admitted to 10 Harbert post-operation knee surgery. This was my first surgery and I was scared. Peyton came into the room with a smile on his face every time. He was always laughing and trying to make me smile. Many times he would come in dancing. He would always ask me what my favorite movie and tv show is. He also asked my little brother and that made me feel good. It felt good that he wanted to know me and that I wasn't just another patient. Sometimes he came in and had a crown on his head that had a veil attached to it. Something his co-workers had gotten him and that made me laugh. Peyton being in a good mood made me feel better. It also put me in a good mood and made me have a positive attitude and made me realize that having surgery was not one of the worst things. He always made sure that my pain level was not high and also made sure that all my other needs were met. Also, not just mine also the people who were in my room. He would come in and tell me how strong I was, so it made me want to push harder in fighting through the pain. Thanks, Peyton for making this experience the best it could have been under the circumstances!
