Three weeks ago, I came into Labor & Delivery with excess vaginal bleeding at 32 weeks pregnant. It was one of the most traumatic experiences I have ever had. Rachel was so calm, sweet, and gentle. She made me feel secure and well taken care of. After I was discharged, I felt like she held a special place in my head and heart. Fast forward to three weeks later, I returned to the hospital for the same reason. When I saw that Rachel had again been assigned to take care of me, I was so happy and I knew I would be in good hands. She made sure I was comfortable, talked me through everything, and would just lend an ear when I needed to talk. She made me laugh and feel more confident that I could overcome this, and reassured me I was doing an amazing job. She is by far the best nurse I have ever had, and I will never forget her. Part of me was sad to leave because I would no longer see her or have her ray of sunshine spirit to keep the positive energy around. Rachel is amazing!
