Rae goes above and beyond for her patients and staff. She organizes potlucks and events for our staff routinely. Recently, for Clinical Assistant Week, she planned that for each day we did something for the clinical assistants. We had provided them with fresh baked goodies and lunch (BBQ) one day.
Rae brightens the overall department. She is always smiling and laughing. She contributes to a very positive work environment.
Recently, she baked cupcakes and took one specifically up to the floor for a patient she had cared for. She goes that extra mile for her patients and staff. She truly is a valuable asset to our department.

I am new to Brackenridge (7 months), so my first experience here was being greeted by Rae and all of the other wonderful nurses in my department. Rae just made me feel so welcome - and I learned quickly that she is the "go-to" person for our department. Not only will she share her knowledge with you, but she does so happily. She helped me feel relaxed and that she would always be available to help me. She is compassionate and fun - and doesn't get upset when things are crazy busy. She is a rock, and she rocks!
