Rayel went the extra mile in our department with a very confused and scared elderly patient. Rayel sat down with the patient and took the time to fold sheets, towels, and wash cloths. This seemed to calm the patient down and lessen the patient's anxiety. The patient was then easily directed and soothed.
Even when our department is bursting at the seams, Rayel took the time to go above and beyond for this patient in order to provide the best care possible. Rayel is an exceptional nurse and I am beyond proud to work with her.
