Annie was very kind, compassionate, and knowledgeable throughout the time our daughter was in hospice.
Annie was the hospice nurse for my infant daughter. Annie was very kind, compassionate, and knowledgeable throughout the time our daughter was in hospice. Annie met us at our home with supplies the same afternoon we arrived home from the hospital. The whole family felt very comfortable having her in our home, and she took very good care of our daughter. We could not have imagined a more helpful person to help our family in such a meaningful way at such a difficult time. She was very efficient in contacting our daughter's pediatrician and delivered her medication in a timely manner. Each day, she was a bright spot ready to help in any way possible to provide care, give advice and be a listening ear. Annie went out of her way daily to care for our daughter and our family. We will never forget her compassion and can never thank her enough for the service she provided.

Annie met us at our home when I brought my husband, S, home from the hospital. She visited with me and watched him talk to his kids and grandkids and then visited with him to evaluate him. So polite, caring, and fun. She came back the next day to bring more equipment and check on S to see how he was getting along at home. The next day she came back to answer all my questions about what I had to do because of his death. She cleaned him up and was ready for the funeral home. It really helped all of us to have all of her help. I’m sure she did more than was required of her and I can’t stress enough how caring and helpful she was. Thank you, Annie.

Note: Annie has now received six nominations for the DAISY Award since Myrtue implemented the program in 2019.
