Rebecca received her DAISY Award nomination from a member of the Leadership Team. Leadership feels that Rebecca meets the following criteria:
Maintains the trust and confidence of all with whom she engages, serves as a role model, and goes above and beyond.
Rebecca exemplifies a dedicated and compassionate GI RN. She has good relations with her co-workers and is always willing to help out. She is always willing to cover calls and to stay late when needed, even when she is not scheduled late. She is always enthusiastic and always has positive vibes. She is very keen on assessing her patients. One time she was able to notice a patient carrying a gun and notified the charge RN. The situation was dealt with calmly without causing harm to anyone. She does her job efficiently and the patients appreciate her very much, due to her positive and caring attitude.
