Reeja’s selflessness and unwavering commitment to our patients and team went above and beyond what was expected. She gave her all to make sure both departments thrived.
I am honored to nominate Reeja, an extraordinary ICU nurse, for the DAISY Award. During one of the most challenging times in the Cath Lab, Reeja stepped up in ways that truly touched my heart. With no one else available to help, she took on the responsibility of managing both elective and emergency cases in the Cath Lab—something that is no small feat. Despite the immense pressure, she managed to do all of this without compromising her core responsibilities in the ICU.

What makes Reeja’s contribution so remarkable is not just her technical skill or her ability to multitask, but the compassion, dedication, and grace with which she handled everything. She was a pillar of support during a time when we needed it most. Her efforts ensured that not a single patient was harmed, and that the Cath Lab continued to function smoothly, even when things felt like they could fall apart.

Reeja’s selflessness and unwavering commitment to our patients and team went above and beyond what was expected. She gave her all to make sure both departments thrived. It’s hard to express just how grateful we are for her actions during this time—she carried us through when no one else could, and for that, I will always be thankful.

Reeja embodies the very spirit of nursing—compassion, resilience, and excellence. She is not only an exceptional nurse but a true inspiration to all of us. It is with the deepest gratitude and admiration that I nominate her for the DAISY Award.

I would like to nominate Reeja for a DAISY Award

She supported Cath lab during their crisis period being on 24 hour calls for 3 consecutive months.
She cancels her leave to assist in the Cath lab.
She embraced the challenge of assisting in being the scrub nurse after just 3 days of orientation in Cath lab.
I have always been impressed by her positive attitude, passion for nursing, and ability to always try to do her best.
Reeja is a hard worker who deserves recognition.
In the ICU, she has always proven to be reliable, responsible, accountable, and dependable.
